Harvest of India

I have had a lot of Indian food in Boston and have had the privilege of trying a variety of spots from the tucked away places in Allston to the popular spots in Downtown. But the Cambridge/Somerville area has a ton of places to choose from. Yet bar NONE, Harvest of India is my number one place to order from. The price alone is worth it but for the genuine taste, the perfect blend of spices, heck even the rice tastes better than other locations! This is my favorite place to order from. Harvest of India has set the bar HIGH.

I have finally found the holy grail of INDIAN food! Having recently moved from Chicago, I have been significantly less than impressed with the scant offerings of bona fide Cambridge-based Indian cuisine. Ignore the spice-phobic and flavor-challenged individuals who share their woefully inaccurate criticisms of HARVEST OF INDIA. I like Indian food and so I ordered my food "spicy". Each dish was delicious! My search for top notch Indian delivery is only over.

I ordered what was quick and well-rated. I had zero expectations. The food arrives 30 minutes before the time estimated. Everything was correct, and my appetizers were so surprisingly good, they brought a tear to my eye. Plus, I'm not a huge spice person. And usually, the included sauces are not enjoyable. However, these were truly wonderful additions. I will ABSOLUTELY order from Harvest of India again in the future.

Best Indian food I've had in Boston! Tasted authentic. I requested the mildest form of spice (as I wasn't sure how hot their standard dishes would be) and I think I'll add a little extra spice next time. And order the paratha!! It reminded me of the home made ones I would eat when I lived in Southern India. The delivery was also faster than anticipated. I can't wait to try more dishes!

Harvest of India is criminally underrated. They're the best Indian food in Cambridge for my money, hands down. The flavors are vibrant and the food seems fresher than at other Indian joints; at a lot of places the color, texture, and flavor leave you feeling like your meal had been simmering on the back burner for a week, but not here! Try the garlic ghobi.

I ordered the Non-Vegetarian Combo Dinner for 1 - which literally should be called dinner for 2 since you get TWO entrees, rice, soup, a giant samosa, AND a dessert! Plus naan! And not some plain cheap naan. Garlic naan! And since I was getting it delivered to my hotel, they were also really thoughtful and included some plates. And enough silverware for 2 people since this was literally enough for 2. I can't lie, I also had this for breakfast the next day because I was flying home and didn't want to waste the deliciousness that was my delivery! And the delivery guy was SO NICE. I had ordered food late (like 9ish), so by the time the guy came (Seamless gave me the timeframe of 30-45 min), my iPhone was on the "do not disturb" mode (which I TOTALLY DIDNT REALIZE), so the delivery guy after several unsuccessful tries of reaching me via phone, went to the front desk to track down my room # to find me. Seriously, incredible service! And they came in like 25 minutes. Insane. Amazing food, even better service. I'm definitely a fan!

Delicious, and decent portions for the money. I've had the saag paneer and mince meat samosas delivered, and both were excellent. Most of their other food is quite good too, from what I recall of their buffet. No complaints about the delivery time: seemed on target for the estimate.

Amazing food at good prices considering the volume you get. Everything is flavourful and rich. I order more often than I care to admit and theyre always top notch.

Wow, delicious. This was my first time ordering from harvest India, and the food was great. My boyfriend says it could compete with his mother's cooking.

Harvest of India is consistently fantastic! We're addicted to their Malai Kofta and Chicken Tikka Masala.
